Holiday
The club’s annual holiday was based in Llandudno for five days in July.

Glenn our driver who took us safely and cheerfully on our journey to the Somerset Hotel, our base in Llandudno.
The first day we explored Llandudno.

We took the tram up the Great Orme. Some of us walked down.

On Friday we all went to Bodnant Gardens where we could be as lazy or energetic as we liked. This was followed by Glenn’s Mystery Tour around Snowdonia.

Bodnant Castle
Great Dixter and Tenterden. Summer 2023
A great day was had by the group.

The unusual garden was interesting and looked very lush in the hot sun.
Tenterden is a lovely place with lots of independent shops and a tree lined high street. It also has a heritage railway with trains to Bodiam Castle. The sunken garden has a beautiful pond and abundant tall plants around the paths.
